complete waste of money - looks rubbish! Does anyone think this is worthwhile, surely there are better ways for money to be spent in the area?

I quite like them, but it would be useful to know how much they cost! I'm sure there are hundreds of other ways the money could be better spent but that doesn't mean that NO money should ever be spent on something like this.

I agree with Oxhey John, a complete and utter waste of resources - it doesn't even look that good.

I think the money should have been spent fixing pot holes in the roads instead of lighting up the Arches!! I am sure it was not cheap.

Sarah, you need to get out more. Mark makes a good point, why not spend the money on something worthwhile like fixing the roads.

I'm all for brightening up Bushey Arches but i don't know hardly anyone who thinks this is a good idea...why can't the council consult residents on things like this, instead of making assumptions and upsetting everyone!
